The CSO has reportedly concluded that Ireland will have to introduce major measures in the coming years if it hopes to meet its Kyoto targets on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Reports this morning said figures from the Central Statistics Office showed that Ireland's emissions were 25% higher than 1990 levels.
