Average Dublin prices 3.2% higher than rest of country

The difference in prices between Dublin and the rest of the country has narrowed over the past year, according to figures published today by the Central Statistics Office.

The CSO said a survey of 73 items found that people in Dublin paid an average of 3.2% more for goods and services than people outside the capital.
