BT awarded €3.7m Glanbia contract

BT Ireland has been awarded a €3.7m three year contract by international food and dairy group Glanbia for voice, data and line rental services.

BT Ireland has been awarded a €3.7m three year contract by international food and dairy group Glanbia for voice, data and line rental services.

BT will connect Glanbia’s 65 sites across Ireland, the UK and US and ensure delivery of operational data around the world.

Commenting on the contract, Tony Minogue of Glanbia said: “The efficient management of our operations depends on the fast, secure transfer of data. With multiple sites around the world, a converged network enables us to greatly enhance our operational performance while reaping the benefits of dealing with a single network and a single global communications provider.”

Bill Murphy, CEO BT Ireland said: “To be chosen for this contract by Glanbia is a significant achievement for BT.”
