Govt planning revamp of industrial relations machinery

Junior Minister Tom Killeen has published plans for a significant modernisation of the State's industrial relations machinery.

Mr Killeen, who has responsibility for labour affairs, said today that the existing structures and systems had evolved in an ad hoc manner since the Labour Court was established 60 years ago.
