The employers' body IBEC has claimed that business costs in Dublin increased by almost one-fifth between 2002 and 2004, putting jobs at risk.

The business group said a survey it conducted found that costs for all Dublin companies had risen by an average of 18.5% in the two year period, with small firms experiencing a 28% increase.
