Construction employment up 4.1%

Employment in private firms in the construction industry in Ireland increased by 4.1% in March 2005 by comparison with March 2004, says the Central Statistics Office.

The monthly employment index increased from 103.1 in March 2004 to 107.3 in March 2005.
