Production down 0.7% in latest quarter

The seasonally-adjusted volume of industrial production for manufacturing industries for the three-month period January to March 2005 was down 0.7% on the preceding three-month period, according to the Central Statistics Office.

On an annual basis, production for all industries in March 2005 was 3.4% lower than in March 2004.
