The Central Bank has identified the ongoing weakness of the US dollar as the greatest risk to the Irish economy this year.

The Central Bank has identified the ongoing weakness of the US dollar as the greatest risk to the Irish economy this year.

In its latest quarterly economic bulletin, the bank said the US dollar was "susceptible to a potentially large correction" and this could, in turn, lead to an appreciation in the value of the euro.
