HSBC bank workers to vote on industrial action

Thousands of workers at one of the UK's biggest banks are to be balloted on industrial action in a row over pay, it was announced today.

Amicus said 20,000 of its members at HSBC will receive ballot papers tomorrow, the same day as the bank holds its annual meeting.
