Sales of Mini cars were up more than 10% in the first quarter of the year, helping to boost parent company BMW’s coffers, the German manufacturer said today.

But sales of the company’s luxury Rolls Royce’s fell by more than 9% over the same period last year – only 126 Phantoms were sold.
