During 2004 there were 20,784 days lost to industrial disputes, the Central Statistics Office reported today. This compares with 37,482 days lost in 2003.

During 2004 there were 20,784 days lost to industrial disputes, the Central Statistics Office reported today. This compares with 37,482 days lost in 2003.

There were a total of 11 industrial disputes in 2004 compared with 24 in 2003. The 11 disputes in progress in 2004 affected 10,227 workers and 11 firms.
