AstraZeneca secures FDA approval for Nexium IV

Pharmaceuticals giant AstraZeneca has secured the approval of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for an intravenous formula of Nexium.

Nexium is used for the short-term treatment of patients with stomach ulcers who are unable to take capsules.
