Betfair weighs up £700m flotation

Online betting exchange Betfair could be set for a stock market flutter that would land its co-founders more than £100m (€144m) each, it was reported today.

Betfair is said to have appointed investment bankers to weigh up its strategic options – including a possible £700m (€1bn) flotation on the London Stock Exchange.
