Workers in the south-west are significantly more productive than their colleagues in the rest of the country, according to new data from the Central Statistics Office.

Workers in the south-west are significantly more productive than their colleagues in the rest of the country, according to new data from the Central Statistics Office.

The CSO said output per person in the south-west was 31% above the national average in 2002, while output in Dublin and the mid-east was 16% above the average.
