A £25m (€35m) contract to upgrade weapons systems on Britain’s fleet of Tornado fighter aircraft has been awarded to BAE systems, the British Ministry of Defence announced today.

A £25m (€35m) contract to upgrade weapons systems on Britain’s fleet of Tornado fighter aircraft has been awarded to BAE systems, the British Ministry of Defence announced today.

Work will centre on modifying the aircraft so that it can use effectively the most up-to-date air-to-air missile systems.
