Other EU states continue to be the main source of foreign investment in Ireland, according to figures released today by the Central Statistics Office.

The CSO said investment from the EU15 countries (the 15 members of the EU before its expansion earlier this year) accounted for almost two thirds of all inward investment at the end of last year.
