P&O staff to vote on job cuts strike

Workers at a leading British ferry firm are to be balloted on strike action in protest at job cuts, it was announced today.

More than 1,000 workers at P&O will vote on whether to launch a campaign of industrial action against plans to cut 1,200 jobs.
