CSO reports 3.5% increase in overseas visits to Ireland

The Central Statistics Office has reported a 3.5% increase in the number of overseas visits to Ireland in the first eight months of this year compared with the same period last year.

The CSO said more than 4.5 million trips to Ireland were undertaken between January and August.
