Shareholders back News Corp's Wall St switch

Shareholders in Rupert Murdoch’s media empire News Corporation today approved a plan to move its major share listing from Australia to the US.

The group said holders of ordinary shares voted more than 91% of their stock in favour of the proposal to shift its corporate base to Delaware, easily beating the required majority hurdle of 75%.
