IFA to group-purchase electricity from wind farm firm

The Irish Farmers Association has reached an agreement with the wind farm company Airtricity for the group purchase of electricity for farmers.

The association said the move was an effort to reduce electricity costs for farmers, which currently total around €100m annually.
