Struggling UK firms 'need more help'

The British government was urged to give more support to industry today after a new report warned that “massive” job losses in manufacturing would continue.

Research for Professional Engineering magazine shows that most firms believe employment in the engineering and manufacturing sectors will continue to fall in the next three years.
