Industrial production slips 1.9%

Industrial production slipped 1.9% for the quarter from May to July, according to figures from the Central Statistics Office released today.

The seasonally adjusted volume of industrial production for manufacturing industries for the three month period May to July 2004 was down 1.9% on the preceding three month period (see above and Table 4).
