Increasing company fears over an American-style “litigation epidemic” threaten to stifle business innovation and competitiveness, a new report warns today.

Firms are growing more and more “risk averse” as the “see you in court” culture becomes more common in Europe, according to Corporate Reputation Watch, the annual global management survey carried out by communications consultants Hill & Knowlton and the Economist Intelligence Unit.
