FTSE ends in black despite oil concerns

The London market managed to end the week on a positive note today after shrugging aside concerns over oil prices.

On another slow day for corporate news, the FTSE 100 Index took its lead from New York to break into the black and close 6.6 points higher at 4369.2, after spending much of the day in negative territory.
