Construction worker employment up 2.8%

Employment in private firms (with five or more persons engaged) in the construction industry increased by 2.8% in June 2004, in comparison with June 2003, according to the Central Statistics Office.

The monthly employment index increased from 101.3 in June 2003 to 104.1 in June 2004.
