The ISEQ index of shares got off to a jittery start this morning as oil prices reached new record highs.
As the price of a barrel of crude in New York broke through the 44 US dollars mark to peak at 44.24, the ISEQ had shed 2.58 points to stand at 5366.09 just before 11am.
