The ISEQ index got off to a slow start early this morning, but had risen 6.56 points to 5,414.08 shortly after 11am.
Financials AIB and Bank of Ireland were both up amid heavy trading, the former up 6c to €12.33, while BoI was up 7c to €10.64.
