A permission-based email marketing campaign by Dublin-based Capital Hotels achieved a response rate of 19% by adhering to traditional direct marketing techniques.

Capital Hotels, with three properties in Dublin City Centre, sent an email to past guests offering 24 hours’ notice on special deals. The campaign was developed and executed by Clientwell, an online marketing agency based in Dublin.

“We were very pleased with the results of this campaign. A response rate of 19% is very rare in email marketing”, said Ladonna Tallon, Sales & Marketing Manager for Capital Hotels.

“We delivered a response rate that is over five times higher than the industry average,” said David Mahon, Managing Director of Clientwell.
