5% increase in April visits to Ireland - CSO

The Central Statistics Office has reported a 5% increase in the number of overseas visits to Ireland in April, compared to the same month last year.

The CSO said there were more than 551,000 overseas visits to Ireland in April 2004, compared to just under 525,000 in April 2003.
