The Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority (IFSRA) has issued a warning about a Canadian investment firm operating illegally in Ireland.

The IFSRA said Whittman Wright and Associates had been offering investment advice and services to the Irish public, despite not being authorised to do so.

The regulator has advised customers to check if a firm is registered before seeking advice from it and never to give bank account details or personal information over the phone.
