Corporate watchdog reports 50% increase in complaints

The Director of Corporate Enforcement has reported a 50% increase in the number of complaints about corporate misconduct received by his office last year.

In his annual report for 2003, Paul Appleby also said he had secured 43 convictions against 26 companies and individuals during the year, a three-fold increase on 2002.
