Ryanair passengers to be charged for check-in luggage

A spokesperson for budget airline Ryanair has confirmed that the company is considering charging passengers for checking in luggage.

The airline said that as part of its ongoing drive to reduce fares, passengers may be encouraged to carry only hand luggage.
