Production down 5.9% on last quarter

Industrial production for manufacturing industries for the three month period January to March 2004 was down 5.9% on the preceding quarter.

On an annual basis production for all industries in March 2004 was 5.9% higher than in March 2003, according to latest figures from the Central Statistics Office.
