The first part of the south-east broadband programme has been completed, with nine kilometres of broadband cable laid around the Waterford town of Dungarvan.

At a cost of around €2m, the Dungarvan Metropolitan Area Network (Broadband) was completed on time and on budget and is an integral part of an €18m south-east broadband programme.
