Greek deficit to breach 3% ceiling

Greece posted a budget deficit of 3.2% of GDP in 2003, breaching the EU stability and growth pact's 3% limit, EU statistics office Eurostat said.

The figure was revised from the 1.7% deficit originally notified by Greece in March, Eurostat said.
