50% relying on state pension on retirement, says IIF

50% of workers are relying on a state pension on retirement, a report commissioned by the Irish Insurance Federation has revealed.

The IIF study showed 50% of the workforce had made provision for a private pension, but the other 50% were banking on the state pension as their main source of income after retirement.
