A controversial bankruptcy ruling against a branch of the Prudential Life insurance company in Indonesia will hurt foreign investment in the country, Indonesia’s top economics minister said today.

The Pru branch offices remained closed for a second day today following a ruling by a Jakarta commercial court that declared the company bankrupt.
