Sportswear brand Puma today said it was expecting a 30% rise in full year profits as demand for its branded clothing and footwear leapt ahead.

The German clothing and footwear giant – famous for its wildcat logo – said the financial year had started “very positively” with a 62.6% rise in first quarter profits.
