Economist rules out property price plummet

A leading Irish property economist has rubbished the claims that Irish property prices are in danger of collapsing.

An economist with estate agent Sherry Fitzgerald said that pessimistic predictions had been proven wrong and that the Irish property market may enter a period of increased stability.
