Eurozone industrial output rises in January

Eurozone industrial output in February rose 0.1% from January and was 0.6% up on the same month a year earlier, the Eurostat statistics office said today.

A breakdown showed energy output surged 1.7% on the month, while the output of intermediate goods climbed 0.5% and that of non-durable consumer goods rose 0.1%.
