London cabbies land windfall if investor gets go-ahead
Thousands of London cabbies will enjoy a £5000 (€7,487) windfall if they vote to allow an American businessman to invest in London black cab company Radio Taxis.
The taxi network wants to convert itself into a private company, allowing it to raise £10.5m (€15.7m) from outside investors to help it to compete with London's newly-licensed minicabs.
