IBEC highlights authority charge anomaly

IBEC has called for the Government to address the substantial differences in local authority charges from county to county, which have been highlighted by the group's recent survey.

The business and employers group said a business operating out of Dublin pays a landfill charge of €225 per tonne of waste while the equivalent cost for a Donegal based business is €125 per tonne.
