BAA passenger traffic climbs 10.4%

BAA, operator of seven UK airports, said passenger traffic in March was 10.8 million, an increase of 10.4% on the same month last year.

The March performance meant on-target traffic growth of 4.4% for the year to March 31, with a record 133.4 million passengers travelling through the airports. This is nearly six million more than the previous year.
