Age Action disappointed with VHI travel offerings

Age Action, the campaign body representing older people in Ireland, has expressed disappointment at VHI's failure to provide a multi-trip travel insurance policy for over-65s.

VHI members younger than 65 can get cover for €49, one of lowest rates in the market. However, for people aged 65-79, VHI charges an annual premium of €179, with many other insurers offering a better deal.
