Tax expert says raise corporate tax

A leading Irish taxation expert has suggested that Ireland should be open to the possibility of raising its 12.5% corporate tax rate.

Paul McGowan, a tax partner with KPMG, warned that we are on a collision course with states like France and Germany, and that this could force a debate on tax harmonisation.
