Economy showed signs of growth in 2003

The Central Statistics Office has reported moderate growth in the Irish economy last year.

In its latest Quarterly National Accounts, the CSO said Gross National Product had increased by 3.3% in 2003, while Gross Domestic Product increased by 1.4%.
