ECB report fall in eurosystem reserves

The European Central Bank said net foreign currency reserves of the eurosystem fell by €0.2bn to €168.2bn in the week ending March 26.

Banknotes in circulation remained virtually unchanged at 423.8 billion, the ECB said.

The gold position of the eurosystem fell by €1m to €130.34bn.

The eurosystem includes the ECB and the national central banks of the euro zone.
