9,000 people have so far indicated to the Revenue they will be making voluntary disclosures of tax liabilities in the Revenue's clampdown on offshore accounts and assets, ahead of today's deadline.

The Revenue on Friday said it would be making no changes to the deadline despite the An Post dispute and has said that people can drop their tax disclosure declaration forms into any revenue office before 5.30pm or fax them in before midnight.
