Number of new cars licensed falls in February

The number of new private cars licensed in February fell 0.5% compared to the same month in 2003, according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office.

First licensing of second-hand private cars increased by 42.8% on the same month last year and the number of new goods vehicles licensed decreased 1.4% on the month, compared to February 2003.
