Easter Barcelona bookings expected to fall 12%

Spanish hotel operators are forecasting a 12% decline in Easter bookings in Barcelona and Madrid following the train bombings in the capital, daily newspaper El País reported, citing a Barcelona hotel association.

However, hotel sector sources said tourism in Madrid is gradually expected to normalise and that the royal wedding on May 22 will also boost the capital's attractiveness.
